Washington, D.C. (June 1, 2015) – On May 23rd, seven university chapters across the country participated in the first-ever National Day of Service instituted by United Muslim Relief (UMR). Inspired by a desire to support domestic projects, National Day of Service is intended to cultivate a generation of students and young professionals that are strongly rooted in their communities and inclined towards sustainable development projects domestically in the United States. (April 22, 2015) – This Monday, United Muslim Relief and Relief International hosted the U.S. Diaspora Consultation in Washington, D.C. in the lead up to the World Humanitarian Summit.
